Concord Point Lighthouse

The oldest granite lighthouse in Maryland that was in continuous use since 1827. Opposite was the lighthouse keeper's cottage which had been greatly expanded over the years. It was from this point that the first canon was fired at the English which resulted in them/us burning down the town, leaving only 5 original houses standing today. We couldn't say sorry enough times to the lady in the tourist information!
